This collection of images is the very tip of the iceberg of photography that I have accrued over the last four years in my role as official photographer for Caledonian MacBrayne, the ferry company.
Providing a life line service to the major islands of Scotland’s West Coast and many remote parts of the mainland, recognised as an institution close to the hearts of many a holiday maker from Scotland and beyond.
Calmac serves five million passengers each year, travelling 27 routes on 30 vessels, as such my job with them is a particularly diverse one! I’ve been lucky enough in my time providing marketing content for them to have a travelled to each of the islands, crisscrossing Scotland many times through the seasons… in ALL weather imaginable! From shooting a high end dining experience in the warmth and luxury of Portavadie Marina and Spa, to sleeping wild in a snow filled cave in the Cuillin mountain range on Skye, Calmac seeks to promote all corners of Scotland’s wonderful West Coast.
